Call to Worship for Lent 2A

In the wilderness,
we will lift up our eyes.
In the wilderness,
our help comes from God:
Our God who made the wilderness;
Our God who inhabits the wilderness.
God is our keeper;
God is our shade and shelter.
Let us praise God together.

  1. I like this but I am always conscious of kids at the beginning of the service so I changed it so that all ages could confidently be part of the Call:
    All:In the wilderness,

    One: we will lift up our eyes.
    All: In the wilderness,
    
One: our help comes from God:
    All: In the wilderness,

    One: Our God inhabits that place.
    All: In the wilderness,
    One: God is our keeper;
    All: In the wilderness,

    One:God is our shade and shelter.
    Let us praise God together.
