Here is the prayer we will pray at the beginning of our Good Friday service:
Holy One, we gather in your presence on this holy night.
We look forward to the resurrection celebration.
But we know that first, we must walk this path with you.
Give us ears to hear. Give us eyes to see.
Give us open spirits and faithful feet.
Amen.
*As always, you are welcome to use this in your own worship setting.
Hi!
My name is John Giurin; I’m the minister of a small congregation in Southwestern Ontario. While most of my material is original, I love to search the web to see how others express themselves. Sometimes what I find is so right, I use it in my own worship.
Your Easter Benediction is one such item. Thanks for your creativity, and may God continue to bless you in your ministry.
If it’s OK, I’d like to use the benediction this coming Easter Sunday.
Your Brother in Christ,
John A. Giurin

John, you are very welcome to use any of the liturgies on my blog in your own worship context. I am glad to know you found something that feels right for your congregation. Blessings to you and your congregation. ~Joanna
