This Call to Worship is based on Psalm 98 and 2 Corinthians 5:17. The plain text is to be spoken by the leader, and the bold to be proclaimed by the congregation. As always, you are welcome to use all or part of this liturgy in your own worship context.
Sing a new song!
For God has done wonderful things!
God sent Christ into the world
that we might be reconciled
won over
harmonized
brought close
to God.
Look–the old is gone
and we are new.
You are new.
I am new.
Each of us
All of us
New creations in Christ.
Shout for joy!
Sing a new song!

This is beautiful! (And I’m noting it now, b/c Psalm 98 is the psalm for Easter 6B.)
Thanks, Derek.
