There are so many good words in the air today. Good words from the inauguration. Good words from Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I hesitate to add many more words to the mix. I’d rather enjoy the words of others today. I’ve shared a brief reflection on King’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” over at the Rev. Gal Blog Pals site. And you can find an earlier post on his rule of life for activists here.

May we listen and learn. May we do justice, may we love mercy, may we walk humbly with our God. Amen.

  1. Thank you for this post. I used some of it in my sermon a few weeks ago. You know how to say things that make sense.
